About XBorderCo

Tax Merchant of Record for digital businesses.

XBorderCo carries the VAT, GST and sales tax liability in 80+ countries so digital businesses can sell globally without taking on local tax registrations, filings, or audit risk - and without replacing their payment provider.

Our Philosophy

Compliance comes first. Our systems are built to meet government regulations across every country we support so you can sell globally without worrying about local tax rules.

You choose which countries to support. Turn on new markets when you need them so compliance never becomes a roadblock to global growth.

We recognise that in the age of AI, teams are smaller and solutions increasingly need to remove the constraints that traditional manual processes place on business. Existing alternative solutions - such as Full Merchant of Record providers - place significant long-term costs and commitments on businesses. Modern business needs flexibility and streamlined, compliant global sales. We aim to bridge this gap.

Where XBorderCo sits in your flow

01

We gate the tax point

Cross-border taxable transactions for supported countries and states pass through XBorderCo at the tax-determination step. Tax is calculated, validated and applied by us - before the supply finalises.

02

We finalise the supply

Invoice finalisation, subscription activation, and the moment of supply for tax - these pass through our system. Where local rules require, we issue the tax invoice ourselves.

03

We are named on the tax line

Invoices, tax receipts, and tax-line identifiers carry XBorderCo's local registrations as the supplier of record. Your brand stays on the front end; ours is on the tax line.

Who we are

The XBorderCo team has blended experience across cross-border tax, payments infrastructure, and software engineering. We have built and operated cross-border tax compliance systems for digital merchants at scale around the world. We have designed a solution that removes the bandwidth commitment that global tax compliance demands from digital businesses.
